R.L. Stine's childhood
R.L. Stine was born in Ohio City, Ohio. He never had hair when he was a kid because he liked to read comics and the only way to get the comics was to go to the barber shop and read them there. So he would go to the barber shop ever Saturday just to read the comics from the newspaper. When he was nine years old he found an old typewriter in his attic. He took it downstairs and started to slam on the keys. He would make jokes and stories for his classmates. His teacher would always take them away but he still kept on doing it. He got his first job at a Fan Magazine in New york.
